A global biotech company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Process Optimisation Manager to join their growing Supply Chain & Logistics team based near Frankfurt. The role will be responsible for improving existing and defining new Supply Chain optimisation processes to ensure smooth operations in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Supply Chain digitalisation projects in the following areas: Integrated Supply Chain planning, Strategic planning, Network planning, Mid-Term planning, Material planning, Demand planning
- Support the development of software for personalized/individualized product groups
- Define and document best practice methods for supply chain processes in a global production, logistics and distribution network.
- Develop global business process mapping templates that can be used to drive digitalization forward in a scalable manner
- Ensure your area of responsibility meets pharmaceutical industry regulatory (GxP) requirements, as well as compliance with IFRS, SOX or trading requirements.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in the supply chain field, ideally in implementation, excellence or optimization projects
- Pharmaceutical or Biotech exposure would be preferred, FMCG/Chemical candidates can also be considered
- Highly experienced with relevant software for production/demand/material planning (e.g. Kinaxis, Orsoft, SAP APO + IBP, ERP)
- Strong networking and communication skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing work environment with dynamic targets while managing and interacting with several business areas
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with minimum B2 level German
