Transportation Specialist

We are supporting a leading global Biotech firm as they expand their Logistics organisation following years of sustained success. This particular position fits within the Transportation Management team, based out of the wider Frankfurt metro area.

Responsibilities :

Working closely alongside other departments and stakeholders, you will be charged with managing the continuous improvement of the existing Transportation network as well as implementation of new processes. Of particular importance is the improvement of the existing Transportation Management System (TMS).

Continuous improvement of Transportation performance by identifying and solving existing bottlenecks
Manage external stakeholders and service providers to ensure adherence to GMP/GDP regulations
Implementation and coordination of transportation links with Clinical Trial supply networks
Alignment to ensure transportation matches the company's expectations regarding quality, information flow and lead time
Support qualification and implementation of new Transportation processes

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience in the Supply/Logistics space within the Pharma/Biotech industry
Experience with GMP/GDP regulations, as well as knowledge of specialised transportation (cold chain, pressurised, etc.)
Strong experience working with internal and external stakeholders
Independent, dynamic work ethic
Project management experience
Expertise with MS Office, PowerBI, and specialised TMS software
Fluent English and minimum B1 German required
