Yiling Tan

With an international background spanning both Europe and APAC, Yiling joined Discover International to combine her passion for people, cross-cultural communication, and the life sciences industry. Having studied Polish in China and gained experience through international volunteer programs, she has developed a strong ability to connect individuals and organizations across different regions, acting as a natural bridge between European and Asian markets.

Yiling partners closely with CROs, CDMOs, and life sciences start-ups, supporting them in building high-performing teams across clinical development, technical operations (including IT, AI, and machine learning), and commercial functions. She primarily focuses on the European and APAC markets, with a growing specialization in niche areas such as radiopharmaceuticals.

Her approach is both relationship-driven and consultative. Yiling is known for her ability to quickly identify client and candidate pain points, offering thoughtful and strategic solutions that go beyond traditional recruitment. She values open and honest communication, and is recognized for being attentive, proactive, and highly engaged throughout the hiring process.
