We are partnered with an established and growing clinical research site in Chicago seeking an experienced Clinical Rater to support ongoing CNS clinical trials. The site conducts Phase I–IV industry-sponsored studies across a range of psychiatric and neurological indications and is known for its collaborative, patient-focused research environment.
This role will be responsible for administering standardized rating scales, ensuring protocol compliance, and supporting study teams across multiple psychiatric and neurological indications.
Key Responsibilities
Administer clinician-rated scales for CNS clinical trials (e.g., MADRS, HAM-D, PANSS, CGI, etc.)
Conduct structured and semi-structured clinical interviews
Maintain consistency and reliability in rating assessments
Collaborate with Investigators, Coordinators, and Sponsors
Participate in sponsor training and calibration exercises
Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements
Accurately document assessments in source and EDC systems
Support screening and baseline visits as needed
Maintain subject confidentiality and data integrity
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related field
Licensed or license-eligible preferred (LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, RN, etc.)
Prior experience as a Clinical Rater in industry-sponsored trials strongly preferred
Strong understanding of rating scale administration and inter-rater reliability
GCP training preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
