Discover International is partnered with a quickly growing UK-based consultancy in their search for a Head of Toxicology.
This role will provide strategic scientific leadership across nonclinical safety and toxicology programmes, while also supporting client relationships, team development, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the toxicology team and provide scientific oversight across client projects
Advise on nonclinical safety strategy from discovery through development
Review study designs, data interpretation, risk assessments, and reports
Act as senior client contact for toxicology and safety matters
Support regulatory submissions and interactions
Mentor and develop team members
Contribute to business development and growth of the toxicology offering
Requirements
PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline
DABT / ERT qualification preferred
Extensive experience in nonclinical toxicology and drug development
Previous leadership or senior consultancy experience
Strong client-facing and commercial skills
Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements
