We are supporting an international pharmaceutical manufacturer looking for a senior engineering leader to take ownership of packaging and inspection operations within a GMP production environment.
The role combines technical leadership, equipment reliability, maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement, while leading the engineering team supporting day-to-day production.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical team supporting packaging and inspection equipment.
Ensure reliable operation and technical stability of production machinery and systems.
Lead troubleshooting and resolve complex equipment issues with Production and Quality.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs and corrective maintenance.
Drive improvements in equipment performance, efficiency, quality and cost.
Ensure engineering activities comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Support introduction of new products, equipment and technologies.
Lead technical projects including equipment upgrades and line improvements.
Develop and motivate the engineering team.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Strong engineering leadership experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
Good knowledge of packaging equipment, inspection systems and production machinery.
Proven experience leading technical teams.
Strong background in maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment reliability.
Experience with continuous improvement and technical optimisation.
Good understanding of GMP requirements.
Strong communication, decision-making and cross-functional collaboration skills.
