About the role:
We are supporting a growing, privately-owned Pharmaceutical company based near Stuttgart as they seek an experienced Logistics Manager to join in a key role within the wider Supply Chain department. This position will be based around a variety of Logistics-focused projects as the company seeks to modernise their End-to-End processes, including warehouse optimisation, system digitisation and customs processes.
Your Profile:
Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or a corresponding education with a focus on supply and logistics
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain and logistics
Experience in strategic project management with cross-departmental coordination
Structured, diligent, independent, and goal-oriented working style
Very good knowledge of SAP (MM module) and proficiency in common MS Office programs (MS Office 365) is required
Fluent English skills required, German language in addition preferred
Responsibilities:
Implementation of strategic projects in the supply and logistics sector
Cross-departmental development and integration of systems into seamless processes
Restructuring and standardization of end-to-end supply chain processes between markets, headquarters, and suppliers
Management of the supply chain through the integration of existing KPIs and the definition of new KPIs
Supporting long-term volume planning and deriving and implementing strategic measures, including:
Ensuring warehouse capacities
Proposals and implementation concepts for in-house logistics and distribution
Main contact for digitization and automation in the supply chain, including:
Coordination of internal and external supply chain departments for the transition from manual processes to SAP/GIB automation
Defining KPIs that contribute to the efficient management of S&OPs while considering budget and supplier capacity (SAC)
Close collaboration between planning, customer service, and production sites, including:
Aligning group interests regarding planning parameters for planning automation
Establishing a container and weight quantity process to increase planning reliability
Managing master data creation
Optimization and standardization of regulatory requirements implementation (e.g., Interzero, supplier bottleneck reporting, IDMP)
Completion of a comprehensive customs process
Optimization of customs processes to ensure compliance
