This is a dynamic Supply Chain Project Management position where you will be aiming to deliver on-time, in-full product launches that meet customer needs across multiple global markets. You’ll be responsible for devising competitive cost concepts and establishing reliable supply chains. Your ability to manage internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in driving projects forward during the launch phase
Your responsibilities
- Support project teams during early phases, contributing to tasks such as batch concepts and supplier feasibility assessments.
- Develop robust, efficient supply chains for new products, addressing technical and regulatory requirements from the start.
- Evaluate competitive in-house manufacturing costs and conduct global market analyses, including managing RfQs with multiple external suppliers.
- Collaborate with the licensing department to prepare cost calculations for customer offers and contracts.
- Lead price and contract negotiations with selected suppliers.
- Manage the launch phase of projects, including planning and coordinating global launches.
- Share knowledge and support peers’ projects with a hands-on approach.
- Oversee raw material demand and capacity planning with suppliers and customers.
- Drive improvements in processes and practices within the Launch department.
- Ensure smooth handover of projects to the established product team after the main launch phase.
Your profile
- Degree in economics or equivalent training, coupled with 3–5 years of supply chain experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical project phases, including development and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in procurement processes and production needs, with a focus on the pharmaceutical field.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Quality Processes and Operational Excellence practices.
- Strong analytical skills, team-player mentality, and effective communication abilities.
- Fluent English, along with advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A curiosity-driven mindset and an appreciation for diverse working environments.
